The venue faced noise complaints, like those that had plagued venues like The Blind Tiger in Brighton and The Astoria in London. So to prevent closure, this key Sussex live music bar required funding to help them with sound-proofing.
The audience for this Kickstarter video was not only Forty Two’s existing patrons, but supporters of local music throughout the UK and beyond. The message needed to be succinct and emphasise the urgency of their cause.
